Activation if you have an Internet banking service [UniCredit eBanking] credentials and you use SMS or mToken authentication

Activation without [UniCredit eBanking] credentials (using Digital userID)

1. Requesting a Digital user ID: visit one of our branches or call our telephone banking service [UniCredit Telephone Bank] (+36 (1/20/30/70) 325 3200, any day between 8:00 and 18:00), where our staff will record your data, activation request after identification and give you your 9-digit user ID (Digital userID), which is required to activate the services.

2. Start activation: install and launch the application. Click the service you want to activate. On the first page, select that you want to activate with a Digital userID. Press the START button. On the next page, enter your Digital userID, then press NEXT.

3. Receiving an activation code: during the first activation with a Digital userID, your unique activation code will be sent via SMS to the mobile number you provided. Follow the instructions on your phone screen to enter the code. (Clicking on the code will automatically insert the code into the appropriate field.) If you change devices and want to reactivate the application with a Digital userID, you will need to visit one of our branches or call the [UniCredit Telephone Bank].

4. Setting up a PIN code and Biometrical identifiers: For security reasons, you need to enter a PIN code of at least 6 digits, but you can also set a biometrical identifiers. From now on, you will only be able to log in to the service using one of these identifiers (fingerprint, face recognition or PIN) and verify your changes and transactions if you set it too.

5. Security flag to use mToken: When you activate mToken, after you set the PIN code, a security flag will appear, which you have to memorize because this will appear every time when you want to login to mToken. If you’ll see the same flag as by the activation, you entered the good PIN code and you have to accept it. If you’ll see a different flag, your entered PIN code is wrong, so you have to go back and enter again.

6. Completing Activation: After completing the activation (pressing NEXT button), you can use the activated services.

Functions related to investment

If you have a securities account, you can review your securities in the Investment module available from the home page of our mBanking mobile application. In addition, as part of the service, you can perform savings-related operations, buy new securities and in case of certain products, sell them. When a new securities account is opened for an mBanking user, the service is automatically displayed in the mobile application and becomes available for use from the next working day, no additional request is required.

mCash - cash withdrawal without a card

Using the mCash function, you can withdraw cash from any UniCredit ATM. You can access this feature on the “Accounts” or „Cards”page by clicking the “mCash” button on the selected account or card. You can select or enter the amount. The minimum amount that can be entered is HUF 1,000, and the maximum is HUF 150.000. The amount entered must be divisible by a thousand. Click the GENERATE CODE button, perform the identification (with a PIN code, fingerprint or face recognition) to receive the code that you enter at the ATM. (The generated code is valid for five minutes and can be invalidated at any time.) After entering the code, you can withdraw cash from the ATM in the usual way.

Card-related functions

The debit and credit cards you hold appear on the cards page. On this page, you can see both activated and non-activated cards, as well as perform various actions: for example, you can set limits for activated cards and activate your non-activated debit cards.

Analysis

In [UniCredit mBanking], you can categorize your expenses and incomes, and view the categorized summary on the „Analytics” page. You can also change the categories set for each item in the transaction history on the "Accounts" and "Cards" pages by clicking on the icon. Click on each transaction to see additional breakdowns along with details of the transactions. On the "Analytics" page, swipe left and right on the upper part of the screen to switch between months. With this feature, you can review your earnings and expenses over several months, so you can re-plan your finances and make it easier to decide what you can save.

MToken is a software-based, PIN-protected code generator service that allows you to generate the access code required to access the internet banking service [UniCredit eBanking] and the e-Sign code to authenticate transfers. These codes can be used for a maximum of 3.5 minutes.
