With Google Pay, you no longer need to search for your cards – you can simply and swiftly pay with your smartphone or smartwatch.

Launch the Google Pay App on your compatible smartwatch and add your UniCredit bank card. If you have not done so yet, please set up a screen lock.

As a retail customer, using your Mobile Application Service [UniCredit mBanking]

  1. Download or update the [UniCredit mBanking] app on your phone from the Google Play Store. 
  2. Open the application and select the card you want to digitize and click on the GPay logo in the Settings menu.
  3. [UniCredit mBanking] will redirect you to the Google Pay interface (downloading the application is not required), follow the instructions there to add your card.
  4. If necessary, confirm the card.
  5. Look for the Google Pay or contactless sign in stores to pay.
     

Via the Google Pay application:

  1. Download the Google Pay App to your smartphone from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app and follow the instructions.
  3. If necessary, confirm the card.
  4. Look for the Google Pay and contactless sign in stores to pay.

The service works with any Android smartphone and tablet with Android Lollipop 5.0 or newer. To enable contactless payment, your smartphone or tablet is required to support NFC (Near Field Communication). You can check whether your smartphone or tablet supports NFC in the Settings menu of the device. You can also add the Google Pay App and your UniCredit bank card to any compatible smartwatch.

Yes, Google Pay payments with retail credit cards contribute to the programme the same as payments with physical cards.

Google Pay utilises one of the most advanced security systems in the world, protecting your payment details with multiple security layers, thus helping you keep your data secure.

Similarly to your physical card, the card digitalised into the Google Pay service can be blocked through the telephone banking service [(+36 1/20/30/70) 325 3200]. Additionally, the Android Device Manager (www.google.com/android/devicemanager) helps you locate, lock and erase the contents of your phone. You may also try to google “Find My Phone” to have Google show you its location on the map.

We assign a unique virtual account number to your credit and debit card details. This is used for payments, therefore, your complete card information is never shared with the stores you are purchasing at. It serves as a substitute digital payment ID of sorts. The last four or five digits of your virtual account number can be found in the Google Pay App under “Card details” or “Transaction details”.
