IMPORTANT CHANGES! Please switch to ViCA authentication before 29 April 2022

Dear Customer,

We kindly ask you to read the following information sheet to use our Spectra service smoothly.

In accordance with the provisions of the European Union’s second directive on payment services (PSD2) strong customer authentication shall be applied on e-banking channels. Consequently, a new authentication method has been launched in Spectra.

In case you currently use password authentication, please switch to the so called ViCA authentication method as soon as possible.

It is important to know that password log-in and payment authorization could not be used after - the extended deadline - 29 April 2022, so we kindly ask you to make the necessary steps described on our https://www.unicreditbank.hu/spectra web address (in the guide under ViCA tab).

By this time ViCA (Virtual Chipcard Application) is available for UniCredit Bank clients as well. ViCA application can be used to log-in to Spectra/SpectraNet and to sign banking orders there instead of the current authentication methods (e.g. password).

  • The application is available for mobile phones with Android or IOS operating system furthermore it can be installed on computers with Windows operating system
  • The ViCA application can be downloaded from the application stores (Google Play, App Store, Windows 10 Microsoft Store), but the download links are also available here.
  • You may find a detailed guide here, how to activate the ViCA application.

Should you have any question in relation to the above, do not hesitate to contact your relationship manager. Our colleagues are at your disposal.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Yours faithfully:
