At the award ceremony of the Sponsorship Award 2011 international competition organized by the European Sponsorship Association, our bank’s Pass It On program was declared winner within the “Business to Community” category.
The essence of this successful initiative, which started back in 2009 and managed to win the acknowledgement of the jury, is that each of our branches contacts an elementary school with a Champions’ League football and a call for competition entries. The task for the school is to organize a sports event mobilizing as many children as possible, with the overt purpose of endearing physical activity, sports and, through that, a healthier lifestyle with them.
With a short report of the sports event illustrated by photos, schools had the chance to win 100 thousand forints, which could be used to organize more sports events, of course.
